It is quite obvious that most web sites now-a-days have very similar traits when it comes to designing the web. As 2017 kicks in we can surely assume that those websites would be updated with what will be released. What makes a trend last, is its usability and accessibility.
Humans are very visual when it comes to websites so what we can surely expect is more pictures with high resolution, brand curated images that would peak audience interest. What will also be a huge deal in the coming year is not just the images, but also typography; strong branding will be highlighted.
In addition, as we have seen in the year 2016 videos are a major component of web designs; in 2017 we can surely expect not only having videos posted on blogs and YouTube, but we will find videos as motion graphics that play in the background of a website. Though designers should keep in mind that the success of such an idea lies in their approach to it; they have to keep it simply with gentle movements.
Moreover, almost all websites would have ease of access through cell phones. Most importantly we will see a decrease in stock images which will surely be a very positive thing to everyone. Hopefully these new creations would be just as amazing as the ones we have seen in the previous years.
